Problem: Needed to generate interest in a new business. The client owned two cottages on Tybee Island and wanted to start a vacation rentals business-- using her homes as the test market. She knew, from friends' experiences, that the local vacation rental businesses weren't quite up to her standards. Her background is in offline marketing for the hospitality industry, so she was very open to the idea of using the web to promote her idea, but she didn't really know what to expect.

After building her online brochure we immediately implemented an aggressive marketing plan, including setting up a Google AdWords campaign, Yahoo search terms research and purchase, and an agressive push for an online presence through link exchanges, media coverage (and online publishing) and a blog. Her business grew immediately! She went from having zero visitors to over 10,000 uniques a month. Within three years she has grown her business to include 35 rental cottages with a sophisticated online reservations system-- and her clients' cottages stay fully booked during the high season and most of the off-season! We provided Diane with a logo, photography, web design and marketing program. Her business illustrates that it is truly important to invest in the marketing piece. Having a web site is nice, getting the right visitors there is golden!
