Thrasher Photo & Design was founded in 2004 by Beth Hall Thrasher and Jason Thrasher. We create photography, video, and design for clients in Athens and Atlanta, GA, Nashville, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and New York.
Jason Thrasher is the PHOTO and Beth Hall Thrasher is the DESIGN of Thrasher Photo & Design. The focus of our company’s work is photography and graphic design, but we also do a whole lot of music videos, corporate branding and marketing.
We function like a creative agency– without the overhead of a big city firm. Take a look at our blog to see what we’ve been up to! Call JASON at 706-380-7778 for photography and video, or BETH at 706-372-2655 for design and marketing to find out how we can make you look good online and in print.
MEET MORE OF THE TEAM at TP&D:
Brantley Senn is our multi-talented programmer and web guru, when he’s not playing bass and writing songs for Dead Confederate.
Justine Stevens is our illustrator extraordinaire. Justine makes our hand-made illustrations, paintings and text, bringing a more organic feel to any project.
Kyle Carruthers is our awesome video editor, for corporate, educational and music video projects, working alongside Jason. Most recently he edited Jason’s videos for the T. Hardy Morris/Georgia Trust project.
We’re always looking for fresh, new talent in the areas of design, illustration, programming, video editing and photography. Send your resume, online portfolio links and areas of interest to Beth (Design) or Jason (Photography).
Each semester we also have a small crew of interns from UGA who help us on Pro Bono work for our two favorite not-for-profits, Nuci’s Space and the New Town Revue, as well as our various in-house art projects like the Underskatement Film and Video Festival and Jason’s fine art photography shows, promotion and books. We don’t task our interns on mission-critical client work, but we do have a multitude of excellent opportunities for learning by working on our various charity and fine art projects! Our Fall Interns include: Michelle Caudill and Ben Skinner from the Lamar Dodd School of Art, Claire Corkren from the Terry College of Business’ Music Business Program, and Porter McLeod from Clarke Central High. Interns from the 2011-2013 crews have gone on to find their first “real” jobs in San Francisco, Seattle, Philadelphia, Boulder, Houston and Austin!
