We’re a boutique creative agency based in Athens, Georgia. Our work is a big part of our life, and we love what we do.

Beth and Jason met in 1999, and they’ve been working together ever since.

The Thrashers started working together on an entertainment start-up in Los Angeles at the close of the nineties. After they moved back East, they founded Thrasher Photo + Design in Athens, Georgia in 2004 with a focus on Jason’s photography and Beth’s marketing skills as a way to support their young family while working from home. They’ve grown their business over the years, adding experts to their team in the areas of video production, sound design, drone photography, branding, vector-based logo design and print marketing, plus web design, copywriting, media campaigns and advertising. In a nutshell, they “do it all” for their clients, and they have a lot of fun doing it— without the overhead of a big city firm.

Louise Haynes Hall
BENEATH THE SKY AND SEA

Opening February 20th
6PM to 9PM

Louise finds her inspiration in the natural habitat of South Carolina’s Low Country— from the coastline of the Atlantic Ocean and its marine life, residing just below the water’s surface, to the many surrounding marshes, rivers, and streams. Each painting in this body of work blends her love of vibrant color with an intense observation of nature. Her painting style is comprised of freestyle brush strokes in multiple layers to create a living, textural work of art. Work in this series is painted on canvas and many pieces are three to four feet in height. Louise hails from Charleston, South Carolina.

Cecilia Reynolds
PLAYING HOUSE

Cecilia’s art process is playful yet reflective, beginning as a game that eventually tells a story. She collects colors, patterns, images, and ideas she encounters, then distills them through her own sensibility. The ongoing dialogue between external inspiration and internal reflection shapes the rules of the game, transforming everyday moments into something more precious. This body of work primarily uses watercolor, drawing, and collage, with many pieces created in Italy during the years when her daughter was young. Cecilia, a Louisiana native, currently lives in Farmington, Georgia with her family.
